Anthony W. “Tony” Hartman, 59, of Chambersburg, passed away the morning of Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was born on Wednesday, February 2, 1966 in Chambersburg, a son of Bonnie L. (Parr) Zinn.

Tony was a 1984 graduate of Chambersburg High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice from Pennsylvania State University. A passionate football fan and talented athlete, Tony had a love for sports and competition. He was recently inducted into the Chambersburg Athletics Hall of Fame for the 1984 baseball team that won the school’s first PIAA state championship. Tony was also passionate about his business, The Jerky Shak.

In addition to his mother, Bonnie L. (Parr) Zinn of Chambersburg, he is survived by his daughter, Ashlynn T. Hartman of Chambersburg; one granddaughter, Aubrey Rae Newman; and four siblings, Charles Ray Hartman, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Ann Louise Zeek of Chambersburg, Wendy Lea Henry and husband Kippen of Chambersburg, and Christopher A. Zinn and wife Claudia of Phoenixville.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Parklawns Memorial Gardens with Father Benjamin Dunkelberger officiating. There will be no public viewing.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
