Anita L. Beam

Anita L. Beam, 78, of Orrstown, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at Concordia at Spriritrust Luther Ridge, Chambersburg, PA, surrounded by her loving family.

Born Thursday, March 11, 1948 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Glen L. and Ethel L. Harris Glessner.

She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God. Anita loved sewing, making dresses, crossword puzzles, reading, and cooking.

Anita is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Marshall Beam, whom she married August 15, 1965; three daughters, Diana L. (companion Keith Rebok) Barrick, Greencastle, Crystal J. (Mark) Brechbiel, Rock Hill, SC, and Joanne M. (companion Bobby Keefer) Beam, Union SC; eleven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sondra J. Stevens; and one brother, Dennis L. Glessner, both of Shippensburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Myers, and one grandson, Damian L. Wade.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Mr. Mick Elder officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
